Steps to register as a Level 3--New Official--
Ages 14 and above





Step 1--Pass Concussion Prevention Course Here

Sign into the BrainShark Guestbook with your name and email, enter Ohio South and leave the clinic number blank.

You should pass as many modules 1-17 as you can by our first meeting.

Level 3 Referees are in a training pattern and will get assignments based on need and ability.

Step 3--Submit $30 that insures you as an official against liability lawsuits and pays your Academy entry fee.

Step 4--Submit Concussion Certificate & ARA Registration document--attached below.

Step 5--Attend Local Meeting

Step 6 Final Step--Establish contact with Tad on Cell phone/Facebook/Twitter, etc.

& Send him your Spring availability for the following weekends.  This is a seasonal thing all refs do when they want to get games.  This tells me when I can assign you.

After these steps you are considered registered and certified to referee SOSL games.

Steps to Getting Assignments
After the league settles on a schedule--very often the week of the games--
1--I send out a schedule and
2--you confirm your games by accepting the assignments.
3--Referee Arrives prepared at game site at least 30 minutes before scheduled kickoff, performs pre-game duties, conducts matches, and submits reports.
