and more..

The Requested amount is $10, and we are looking for 35 donors...

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Athens Soccer Academy began taking donations in May.  We organized a Swapluck in Athens, Ohio  --a swapluck is actually a soccer gear exchange, so local players can request items they need.
 We had a good spring harvest.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

In many cases, the gear comes in ready to ship, but we accept gear in any condition.

There is a process to clean leather shoes; less steps to clean synthetic materials.

In Response to Local Requests for gear, Athens Soccer Academy equipped three local players with shoes and shin guards.

 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We accept any equipment and will make use of it. For this project, let's take a moment to discuss some soccer shoe basics.
 The shoe Bottom Left is traditionally used on a baseball diamond, and the shoe Bottom Right is worn on a soccer pitch.
The Top Profile of a soccer shoe is less obtrusive across a key kicking surface, the laces.
The Overall Shape is rounder, and the feel of upper generally softer.  Soccer shoes from earlier times were designed to fit like a glove.
